Sunburn 2020 Safety Protocols To Be Followed
The iconic music festival that draws thousands of music lovers is back with the 2020 edition even with the rising cases of infections in the country. However, there are certain protocols to be followed-
Entry would not be allowed without the Aarogya Setu App check/scan.
Everyone should wear a Mask throughout the festival.
Entry will be permitted as per the time slots.
Social Distancing is to be followed strictly while attending the event.
People should avoid gatherings at gates, toilets, F&B area, or any other common areas.
Every person has to follow all the entry procedures including- temperature check, sanitization, and security frisking.
Depending upon the regulations set by the government, a negative COVID-19 test report might be required.
The rules clearly say that presence of the Aarogya Setu app will be mandatory for getting an entry into the festival venue to avoid any kind of risks. Besides this, special attention will be given to following proper social distancing through the creation of PODs and Designated Areas across the venue along with the new entry and exit protocols.
Don’t worry if you have reasons to cancel your Sunburn plans this time! The entire festival will be live-streamed directly from the ground for everyone who missed it this time on all Sunburn’s social media handles including- Facebook, Instagram, etc.
Well, the announcement did receive severe flak from netizens, as the news of the concert is a shock amid this pandemic. Here’s how few twitter-ers reacted to this big announcement-
.@bookmyshow life is a bit beyond your comissions and percentage of profits on overpriced tickets for a festival does not deserve.

You are literally putting people's life at risks here.
It's beyond me to understand why can't corporates and goverments be a bit cognizant!!!!
WTF you mean by 20% capacity ? Are you going to put circles infront of the stage for drunk people to dance with social distancing ? Our Goan doctors are already not getting paid + have to leave their residency to convert rooms for Hospital beds. Have some sense of responsibility.

The Chief Operating Officer at Percept Live and the creator of Sunburn, Karan Singh said- "COVID-19 has literally put a pause on life. In India, we have witnessed stringent lockdown measures since March 2020. With the unlock measures initiated and specially Unlock 5 permitting ground events, we figured it's time to restart lives, time to live again, and most importantly live, love and dance again. Sunburn 2020 will be a limited capacity, a super safe event following global best practices, and all applicable guidelines. Fan safety is our top priority."
